About C & C Lawn and Landscape, LLC

Late May in Ionia County smells like cut grass and turned field at the same time, and out toward Prairie Creek the light stays up past nine o'clock. C & C Lawn and Landscape, LLC mows, trims and edges through that long green stretch, from town lots on the river flat to places where the yard simply stops being yard and becomes hayfield. The work has a rhythm to it: a straight first pass, the borders squared, the clippings cleared off the walk. Come April and October there are the cleanups — winter's mess pulled out of the beds, a whole maple's worth of leaves hauled off before the freeze. Weeks like that, one after another, are what keep a place looking cared for from the road.
