About Freedom Hawk Forestry Mulching, LLC

Hubbard Lake is a long reach of inland water in Michigan's northeast, and by January it lies frozen between its wooded shores, the ice booming and creaking to itself on the coldest nights. Freedom Hawk Forestry Mulching, LLC clears snow around the lake, opening the drives and lanes that wind back through the pines to homes and cabins. Snow out here tends to stack up in patient layers rather than one big blow, and it deepens fast on a road that sees few tires. The goal is a way out that holds up after dark, full width and firm underfoot, its sides cut straight through the drifts. Where the nearest neighbor may be across the ice, an open lane is what keeps the whole winter within reach.
