Jimmies Lawn Care

About Jimmies Lawn Care

Saturday mornings in Howell have a sound to them from May onward — a mower two streets over, then another, a whole neighborhood agreeing on the same errand. Jimmies Lawn Care is usually out ahead of all that, working a route of lawns cut to an even height, trimmed around every post and downspout, edged where the turf tries to creep onto the concrete. Nothing complicated about it: sharp blades, straight passes, clippings swept off the walk before leaving. A yard should look like somebody thought about it, not like somebody hurried through it. That is a week's work in Howell, and then it is next week's again.
