At first light in November a fox will cut across the back of a Howell yard where mown grass gives way to brush, and that seam is where this work lives. Foxscapes tends the kept side of it — mowing, trimming and edging through the growing months, then pushing snow off drives, parking areas and walks once the cold settles in for good. The two halves of the year ask for opposite things, patience in one and speed in the other, and both leave a clean border behind them. Grass cut even to the edge; snow stacked well past it. Howell and the towns just beyond it see both from the same trucks.
