About DGD Outdoor Services, LLC

Out where Oceola Township is still mostly open ground, the wind does as much work as the sky — six inches falls and then drifts itself across the road until a lane you just plowed fills in behind you. DGD Outdoor Services, LLC handles snow removal here: plowing drives and lots, clearing walks, treating the slick spots that form where the drifts run. It is a moving job all night, because in this country a driveway finished at ten can need a second pass at three. What holds it together is knowing which stretches load up first — the fencerows, the low hollows between the glacial hills, the corner where the field opens to the west. Come daylight, the pavement is black and open, and the storm becomes somebody else's news.
