About Northern Exposures Landscaping L.L.C.

Break-up in the north woods is a loud, muddy, hopeful business: the ice goes off the lake in a handful of gray days, the sand roads soften underfoot, and everything buried since November turns up all at once. Northern Exposures Landscaping L.L.C. meets the year on both sides of that line. The green season is mowing, trimming, edging and the cleanups that follow thaw and leaf-fall; the white season is plowing and stacking, clearing walks and doorways, and salting the corners that go slick first. Living between the Au Sable forest and the largest inland lake in Michigan means weather is never a rumor around here — it shows up in person. The good work is being ready before it does, on both counts.
