Black Armor Property Maintenance

About Black Armor Property Maintenance

Snow reaches Holly first out on the open stretch by the highway, where there is nothing between the fields and the wind to slow it down. Black Armor Property Maintenance runs those nights: plow down the length of a drive, walks and entries cleared by hand, salt spread where a north-facing approach refuses to let go of its ice. The route repeats as long as the storm does, because one clean pass at ten o'clock means little by two in the morning. There is a plain kind of pride in pulling away from a property with the pavement showing dark and the walk down to concrete. In this corner of Oakland County, snow is the season that decides everything.
