Down toward Highland Station the maples turn early, and the first serious leaf fall arrives while the grass is still growing hard. Watson's Outdoor Services handles both at once — mowing straight on through, clearing leaves off lawn and beds, trimming and edging so the season's mess never gets ahead of a property. Cleanups take in the fence corners, the driveway apron and the strip out by the road where drifted leaves like to gather. Through summer it is the ordinary steady round of cutting and detail work, week upon week. At the far end of autumn the yard still looks tended, right up to the cold.
