About Mark's Landscaping & Lawn Services

By the middle of October the oak and hickory standing over Highland's village center let go all at once, and every lawn from Livingston Road east disappears under an ankle-deep drift of brown. Mark's Landscaping & Lawn Services works straight into it — leaves gathered and carried off, beds cut back, the last mow of the year taken low and even so the turf goes into winter tidy. Through summer the same yards get cut on rotation, trimmed around the trunks and fence lines, edged where lawn meets pavement. Mulch goes down in spring, when the ground here smells like snowmelt and thawing oak leaf. Watching a yard come back out from under all that, sharp-edged and open again, is the part worth showing up for.
