About Jays Landscaping

Late in a winter afternoon the limestone of the McGregor Library goes the color of weak tea, and the side streets off Hamilton fill up with blue shadow. That's often when the second pass happens — the storm that started at noon has laid another two inches over the morning's work, and the drives need opening again. Jays Landscaping handles snow in Highland Park: plowing, clearing walks and steps, and salting the shaded runs where the sun never quite reaches. Flat ground, tight lots, and big old maples mean every block has its own habits, and you learn them one winter at a time. The best part is the sound of the last shovel scrape on a drive that's ready before the headlights come up the street.
