About Grosse Pointe Landscaping Inc

In late August the breeze comes off Lake St. Clair around four in the afternoon, and every lawn in Harrison Township leans the same direction at once. Grosse Pointe Landscaping Inc likes the wide grass of that hour — the long open yards set back from Jefferson Avenue, where a cut shows its lines all the way to the hedge. The work is straightforward and it is meant to look it: mowed to an even height, trimmed close at the beds, edges cut so the driveway seems to have been poured yesterday. Lake air keeps this ground growing well into fall, which means the mowing keeps its rhythm long after other towns have quit. A yard that stays tidy through September is its own quiet argument.
