About Collins Land Services LLC

January wind comes off Lake St. Clair carrying water with it, and Harrison Township wakes to driveways filled curb to garage door. Collins Land Services LLC runs the plow on those nights, working the route while the streets are still empty and porch lights are the only color outside. Drives are opened wide enough for a car door to swing, walks are cleared down to the step, and the piles go where they will not blind anyone backing out at the road. Salt follows on the spots where ice wants to set up once the wind lies down. The best part of the job is the moment a homeowner lifts the blinds at six and finds black pavement already waiting.
