Simply Snow + Lawn

About Simply Snow + Lawn

Wind comes off Lake Huron here with nothing to slow it, and by February it has built drifts across the fields west of town and laid them down again on Harbor Beach driveways. Simply Snow + Lawn works those mornings — plowing out drives and lots, cutting walkways down to bare concrete, spreading salt where the wind has polished a slope to glass. There is a particular satisfaction in a driveway opened before the harbor light has finished blinking through the dark. The work follows the storm rather than the clock, which is what a shoreline winter asks of anyone. Come the thaw, the same drives run wet and clear toward the water.
