About Tech Tom’s

Hamilton is a walking sort of place in the summer — sidewalks under shade, ball fields behind the school, and lawns that run straight to the concrete without a fence to interrupt them. Tech Tom's mows those village yards in tidy overlapping passes and cuts the edge at the sidewalk hard enough that the line stays legible for a week. Trimming takes the corners a mower has to leave: around the porch steps, the light post, the base of a big front-yard maple. Come autumn those same maples let go all at once, and the leaves get gathered off the grass before an October rain glues them down. The reward is a front yard that looks composed from the street on an ordinary Tuesday, which is when it matters most.
