A Cut Above Tree & Lawn Care

About A Cut Above Tree & Lawn Care

Gwinn was laid out along the Escanaba River with a green at its heart and streets that end in timber, and the town still carries that shape. Summer is short and vivid here — grass comes on strong in June and has to be kept up with, so A Cut Above Tree & Lawn Care runs the mowing tight, trims to the woods' edge and cuts a clean line along the drives. Overgrown limbs get taken back where they crowd a roof or a walk, because in this country a branch loaded with wet snow becomes everyone's problem. Then the lake-effect arrives out of the northwest and does not really stop until spring, and the work becomes plowing, banks pushed wide, walks opened to the door. Getting a Marquette County drive cleared before the first shift of the day is its own small victory, repeated all winter.
