About L&D Lawn Care Service

October turns the streets around Ghesquiere Park into a slow gold rain that lasts about three weeks. L&D Lawn Care Service works straight through it — mowing while the grass is still growing, then pulling the leaves off the lawn before they mat down and smother what is under them. Trimming and edging keep going right up until the ground hardens for good. There is something worth doing about a yard raked bare and green in late fall, ready to sleep. Grosse Pointe Woods, and the Pointes next to it, get that last careful pass before winter.
