About FAV Landscape Services
Four in the morning on Vernier Road, and the plow lights are the only color for a mile. FAV Landscape Services works the hours nobody sees — pushing driveways open, clearing walks down to the pavement, laying salt where the ice wants to set up. The lake air makes for heavy, wet snow here, the kind that comes down like it means to stay, and it still has to be gone before the first cars roll out. There is a particular pride in a drive that is already black when the porch light goes on. Grosse Pointe Woods and the streets around it get that same treatment, storm after storm.
