The Landsculptors

About The Landsculptors

A lawn is a shape before it is anything else, and Greenville's yards come in every contour the old glacier left — slopes running toward the river, flat blocks near downtown, long open frontage out on the section roads. The Landsculptors read that shape and cut to it: mowing to an even height, trimming where a deck cannot reach, edging the lines that hold the whole picture together. Cleanups in spring pull a yard back into view; cleanups in fall put it away clean. Week after week, the result is a property with definite outlines — grass here, bed there, nothing blurred. It is a good thing to drive past.
