About Community Lawn Care

Green Oak Township is oak-opening country, glacial hills folded around the Huron River as it runs through Island Lake, and the neighborhoods sit right in among the trees. Community Lawn Care keeps those yards on a weekly turn — mowing, string trimming, edging along walks and drives, clippings blown off the concrete. Oaks hold their leaves late and drop them stubbornly, which makes fall cleanup a long project here rather than a single afternoon. Spring brings the opposite job: clearing the winter's litter so the first cut lands on clean ground. A tended lawn under big trees is a particular kind of good-looking, and it comes from returning again and again.
