About Christian Brothers Lawncare & Outdoor Services

North of Grand Rapids the sandy ridges around Grant drop away into black muck ground, and the two soils keep different clocks — one dries out by April, the other holds water into May. Christian Brothers Lawncare & Outdoor Services works both, mowing, trimming and edging through the growing months and hauling off the debris a farm-town wind piles against a fence line. When the cold sets in, the same trucks turn to plowing drives and lots and salting the walks so the morning starts on bare pavement. There is a plain satisfaction in a lawn cut clean to the edge of the drive, and in a lot pushed back to its corners before the first car arrives. Grant is a town of early risers, and the work is shaped to match.
