Indian Mill Creek cuts a green seam across the northwest side, and the yards along it go from soggy in April to hard as brick by August. Miller Lawn & Snow works both moods — mowing, trimming and edging on a weekly turn, cleanups in the shoulder seasons, and then the winter side: drives pushed clear, walks shoveled, salt down before the lake starts sending snow inland. The northwest side catches those bands early, sometimes a few hours ahead of anything downtown sees.
