Up along the Grand's north bend, past Comstock Park, the year swings between hard extremes — ice shelves on the river in February, mowing three times a fortnight by mid-June. MI Lawn and Landscape rides the full arc: mowing, trimming and edging while the grass is running, cleanups when the season opens and when it closes, then plows, shovels and salts once the cold has settled in for good. The flats near the water thaw last and green up fastest, and the schedule gives way to that rather than the other way around. What stays constant is the finish — a straight edge along the walk, a driveway pushed all the way into its corners. Same standard, different equipment.
