Larry's Lawn and Tree Service

About Larry's Lawn and Tree Service

The maples in Ottawa Hills give up all at once, usually in the last week of October, and a lawn can vanish beneath them in a single windy night. Larry's Lawn and Tree Service handles both ends of that year: mowing, trimming and edging through the green months, cleanups when the leaves let go, then the plow blade and the salt spreader once the ground goes hard, with the walks done by hand. Winters here are built of repeat performances — a lake band on Tuesday, a thaw on Thursday, glare ice by Friday morning. Being the one who turns up for each of them is the actual work. A cleared drive and a cut lawn are the same promise, made in different weather.
