About Everett's Landscape Management, Inc

On a cold morning the Grand River smokes, and the fog slides up over Monroe North and Belknap Hill while the city is still blue-dark. Everett's Landscape Management, Inc is out in it, plowing lots and drives on the near north side in the last hour before the streetlights quit. Snow is pushed and stacked where it will not block a sightline, entryways are shoveled down to the surface, and ice control goes on the steps and the ramp. There is real craft in a lot cleared corner to corner — every line straight, nothing left in the middle to freeze into a hump. When the sun finally clears the ridge, the day begins on schedule.
