About J Streng Lawn Care LLC

By mid-July the sand under a Grand Haven Charter Township lawn has given up most of its water, and grass out here will tell you about it inside of a week. J Streng Lawn Care LLC mows to suit that — cutting to a height that holds up in heat, trimming close where the deck cannot reach, edging drives and walks, keeping the clippings off the pavement. Afternoons in the township carry a breeze up from Lake Michigan through the oaks on the dune ridge, which is the best part of the job in August. Spring and fall bring the cleanups, the raking and hauling that make the first and last cut of the year worth something. Steady work, held to the calendar, on ground that does not forgive a skipped week.
