Gon’ Mowin’ Lawn Care

About Gon’ Mowin’ Lawn Care

Some Saturdays in May the whole township smells like cut grass by nine in the morning, and it is hard to argue with that. Gon' Mowin' Lawn Care is out in the middle of it — mowing on a schedule, string-trimming the corners a deck cannot reach, edging the drive, blowing the walks clean before rolling on to the next one. Grand Haven Charter Township runs from tight lots near the Lakeshore Drive corridor to long open acres out toward Nunica, and every one of them takes its own pass pattern. Autumn means leaf cleanup; winter means plow trucks, shoveled walks and salt on the slick spots before dawn. The name says the plan, and the yards say the rest.
