About Affordable Ground Management LLC

By late August the light over Grand Haven Charter Township goes long and honey-colored, and the lawns that have been mowed all summer show it — stripes running out toward the tree line, edges holding their shape. Affordable Ground Management LLC keeps that rhythm going with weekly mowing, trimming around posts and beds, and a pass with the blower so no clippings are left on the walks. When the leaves come down over the wooded ridges near Hofma Preserve the work turns to cleanups, and when the wind swings northwest and the lake starts throwing snow inland it turns to plowing, clearing walks and salting the slick spots. Township ground is mostly sand, which means grass that needs a steady hand and driveways that drift fast in an open wind. Same trucks, same route, twelve months a year — that is the whole idea.
