About DeShano Companies Inc.

Cedar Avenue is quiet at four in the morning in January — brick storefronts, one signal blinking, and a whole street of snow that has to be gone before the doors unlock. DeShano Companies Inc. plows and clears in Gladwin through those hours, the sort of snow work nobody watches being done and everybody notices when it isn't. Drives opened, walks taken down to bare surface, banks stacked where they won't blind a driver pulling out. Storms in this county tend to arrive on a northwest wind and settle in for a while, which makes the second and third passes matter as much as the first. By the time the sky goes gray over M-61, the day can simply begin.
