About Scorpions Lawn & Landscaping

Seven in the morning in September, dew still heavy, mist standing over the cattail lowlands where the ground goes soft between the hills — that is when the mowers come off the trailer. Scorpions Lawn & Landscaping starts early because the grass cuts cleanest before the day heats up: mowing, string trimming, edging along walks and drives, beds mulched and kept, cleanups in spring and again once the leaves come down. Wet ground and dry ground sit fifty feet apart in this township, and cutting both without tearing either takes a light touch. By the time the sun is over the oaks a yard is finished and the truck is two roads over. The finish holds all the way to the next visit, which is exactly the idea.
