About Powell Services LLC

At four in the morning in January, Genesee Township is streetlights and blowing white and not much else. Powell Services LLC is out in it, plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks, and putting down salt so the first car of the day gets out without a fight. The wind crosses the open ground east of the subdivisions and packs the drift right where the drive meets the road — that is the cut that has to be taken twice. By the time the buses run, the pavement is dark and wet and the night's work has gone invisible, which is how it should be. Seasonal accounts get the same routine every storm, all winter long.
