About S&J Landscaping, Inc.

Snow does not lie still on the open ground near Keystone Road; it travels, piles against anything that stops it, and rebuilds the drift you cleared an hour ago. S&J Landscaping, Inc. plans around that, running Garfield Charter Township routes in the dark hours so the blade gets ahead of the wind instead of chasing it. Drives are opened wide enough to actually turn a car around in, walks and steps are cut down to footing, and the pile goes where it will not blow straight back. There is a plain pleasure in pulling away from a property at first gray light and seeing it open and passable. That is what a Grand Traverse winter asks for, and it is the work this outfit is built around.
