About Schafer’s Outdoor Services LLC

Around Rennie Lake the year turns twice with real conviction — once in October, when the hardwoods drop everything at once, and once in April, when the last gray crust finally gives up on the north side of the garage. Schafer's Outdoor Services LLC works both turns and everything between. Autumn is leaves off the turf and beds put to bed; winter is the plow out through Garfield Charter Township, driveways opened and walks cleared before the school buses run. Come the warm months it is mowing on a steady weekly rhythm, with trimming and edging to finish the picture. Keeping one property looking right across a full northern Michigan year takes twelve months of small decisions, and that is the trade.
