Seven in the morning, trailer loaded, the day's route drawn from one side of Garden City to the other with the Rouge valley and Hines Drive lying off to the north. TTL SERVICES works down that list all day — mowing, trimming, edging, clearing clippings — and folds in the spring and fall cleanups when the calendar calls for them. A route has its own music: gates, ramps, engines, the same order every week. By late afternoon a dozen yards look sharper than they did at breakfast. Then the trailer goes home, and tomorrow the list starts over.
