The year here makes a full circle: mud in March, green through October, then a clipper drops out of the northwest and the shovels come off the wall. Total Lawn and Snow rides the whole loop — mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups in the warm months; plowing, shoveling and salting drives and walks once Garden City goes white. Out toward the Westland and Wayne edges of town the wind has room to run, and drifts stack against the garage doors overnight. Clearing them before the first alarm goes off is its own small victory. One property, one number, all four seasons of it.
