About Friske's Snow & Tree Service LLC

First light in Gaines comes across flat Genesee County fields, and a freight on the old line goes through the village before most of it is awake. Friske's Snow & Tree Service LLC works these yards, fencerows, and farm lanes south of Flint. Tree removal, tree trimming, and pruning are steady work here — the box elder crowding a garage, the silver maple whose limbs reach a little farther over the driveway every year. When thunderstorms build over the Thumb and cross open ground with nothing to break them, storm damage cleanup fills the next two days. A lane opened and a yard put back before supper is a day that reads well from the road.
