On a Saturday afternoon in the subdivisions off Nadeau Road you can hear the whole township at work: a sprinkler ticking two houses down, somebody's radio, mower after mower. JDP Lawn & Handyman Services is part of that sound most weeks — mowing, string trimming, edging the walks, and clearing clippings off the driveway before pulling out. Frenchtown yards run mostly flat and open, which sounds easy until you notice flat ground shows every wobble in a line. So the passes get walked straight, and the trimmer goes around each post and downspout instead of near it. A finished lawn on a Saturday evening, grill going and the light long, is about as good as summer gets here.
