Wilcox Plowing and Lawncare

About Wilcox Plowing and Lawncare

Freeport is a handful of streets in Barry County with corn and hay running out from the edge of town in every direction. Come June the days stretch late, swallows work the fields, and the village yards go emerald under the same rain that greens the crops. Wilcox Plowing and Lawncare looks after those yards: mowing, trimming and edging, the raking out of spring and the leaf work of fall, from the village lots to the farmsteads on the gravel roads. Small-town grass is public — everybody drives past it — and a straight line down a front lawn is something to take pride in. The reward is that Saturday-evening look, trimmed right up to the walk, the whole place quiet and freshly cut.
