About Allan’s Tree Service LLC

Late August in Fowlerville means cut hay in the fields, the fairgrounds loud for one good week, and traffic running steady on I-96 past the edge of town. Allan's Tree Service LLC works this Livingston County farm country, where old shade trees line Grand River Avenue and stand alone in the middle of section fields. Tree removal, tree trimming, and pruning are the trade: a dead ash dropped clear of the wires, a crown raised over a driveway, small cuts made now so a big one is never needed. Storm damage cleanup handles the rest — the straight-line wind that flattens corn and lays a limb across the barn lane. There is a plain pleasure in the last pass with the rake, when the yard has gone quiet again.
