Donaldson & Sons

About Donaldson & Sons

Toward dusk on Seymour Road the light goes long and level, and a mowed lawn shows every line you put in it. Donaldson & Sons works those late hours as readily as the early ones, two sets of hands starting from opposite ends of a yard and meeting in the middle. Trimming follows the mower rather than waiting for next time, and the walks get blown down before the truck doors close. There is pride in leaving a place quiet and squared away with the sun still on it. Donaldson & Sons mows in Flushing and the towns around it.
