About Schultz Landscaping and Restoration

Spring gets to Florence in stages: the fields go dark and wet, the woodlots green up from the bottom, and then one warm week in May everything grows at once. Schultz Landscaping and Restoration meets that week head-on — mowing, trimming along fence lines and outbuildings, edging drives and walks, and raking out the winter's litter of sticks and matted leaves so the lawn can breathe again. Country yards run big and irregular here, with ditches and culverts and a great deal of perimeter that has to be finished by hand. Done right, the mowed shape follows the land instead of fighting it. By June the yards have settled into a rhythm, and a place that looked rough in April looks like it has been kept all along.
