Great Lakes Landcare

About Great Lakes Landcare

Wind off Saginaw Bay comes down over Flint all spring, cool and persistent, and it holds the grass back a week or two past what the calendar promises. Great Lakes Landcare starts when the ground says so, with the first mow, the first trim, the first crisp edge along the walks, and then keeps pace when May turns everything green at once. Through summer the lawns are cut on rotation, borders kept tight, walks blown clear. Fall cleanups take the leaves off before wet weather flattens them into the turf. It is Michigan lawn work timed to Michigan weather rather than to a date on a page.
