About Dan Shamel Lawncare

October out toward Swartz Creek is stubble fields and low sun, and the lawns in between take their last cuts of the year. Dan Shamel Lawncare mows and trims through those closing weeks, edges the walks one final time, then clears the leaves off before frost sets into the ground. A few weeks later the same drives need a blade, with plowing, shoveling and salting as Genesee County settles into its long white stretch. The handoff from mower to plow happens fast here, sometimes inside a single month. Following a property straight through that turn is the satisfying part of the work.
