About Ace Landscaping Lawn Care-Snow

February in Ferndale arrives sideways, wind coming up out of the I-696 trench and skidding across the flat ground north of Eight Mile. Ace Landscaping Lawn Care-Snow meets that weather with plow and shovel, opening driveways, front walks and steps so a house can be left in the dark and come back to without a second thought. When the ground finally softens, the trucks trade blades for mowers, and the grass gets cut and trimmed on a turn the neighbors could set a watch by. There is a plain pleasure in a lawn that looks tended and a drive that's down to pavement by breakfast. The map is small — Ferndale, Pleasant Ridge, Oak Park, Hazel Park — and the standard doesn't move across it.
