About ABK Landscaping

Ferndale keeps half its life in the alleys — the straight back lanes behind the bungalows, where the garages are and where a winter morning actually begins. ABK Landscaping works those lanes and the driveways that feed them, pushing snow off the concrete before the first porch light comes on and the block starts moving. In the warm months the same routes turn green and the mowers come out, holding a clean line where grass meets the sidewalk square. Yards here sit close together, so every edge is visible to the whole street, which is reason enough to cut them right. From Oak Park to Pleasant Ridge to Hazel Park, the job reads the same: an even lawn in July, a bare drive in January.
