Surface to Soil Co.

About Surface to Soil Co.

Spring here announces itself underfoot before it does anywhere else — frost easing out of the ground, the township drains running full, the first green showing along the south side of every building. Burns Township is farm country, and people who live between plowed fields know the difference between grass that is merely alive and turf that has been fed, mown and kept. Surface to Soil Co. works that ground: regular mowing through the season, trimming and edging, overseeding thin spots, and the cleanups that set a yard up for what comes next. Turf answers slowly and then all at once, which makes the payoff worth the wait — thick, even, dark green right out to the edge. It is a good thing to hand back at the end of a job.
