About Martin Rosas Landscaping

Fennville lives inside the fruit belt, orchard rows running to the horizon and the big lake sitting a few miles west, keeping the spring slow and the autumn long. Martin Rosas Landscaping mows the lawns between those orchards and along the village streets, cutting on a rhythm that keeps grass thick instead of scalped. The trimmer takes the fence corners, the mailbox post, the ring around every fruit tree in the yard; drives and sidewalks get cleared of every clipping. In April there is a winter to pull out of the lawn and beds; in October the leaves come down over everything at once. A yard finished on a blue afternoon with the orchard wind moving through it is a good thing to stand and look at.
