The Fawn River runs cold and clear through the township, low banks and cattails, mist sitting on it most mornings until the sun gets over the trees. Legendary Lawns is out in that first light, mowing while the air is still and the cut smells like the river. Edges come back to a straight line along walks and drives, the trimmer takes the fence rows and the shade trees, and the hard surfaces get blown clean before they load up. Through spring the schedule is relentless; by September it eases and the mowing gives way to clearing leaves off the lawns near the water. Nothing complicated — just a yard that looks cared for every week of the season.
