Skrabut's Lawn Care

About Skrabut's Lawn Care

Farmington Hills wakes on a grid — Eight Mile to Fourteen, ruled straight across the Oakland County clay — and Skrabut's Lawn Care is out on it before the streetlights give up. In winter that means a driveway opened while the porch light is still the brightest thing on the block, salt laid down in a line you could follow home. In summer it means mow lines that run true to the road, edges cut clean where turf meets concrete, clippings swept off the walk before the heat climbs. There is a real satisfaction in a lawn that looks finished from the sidewalk and still looks finished up close. Snow removal and lawn care, the same streets twice a year in two different colors.
