The Muskegon River bends through Evart township on its way west, and the low ground beside it grows grass faster than anywhere else around. MowingDuo keeps up with it — mowing on a steady rotation, edging walks and drives back to a straight line, trimming around the trees and fence rows a deck can never reach. July afternoons come with cut-hay smell off the fields and a wind that pushes clippings sideways, so they blow the drives and sidewalks clean before pulling out. Come autumn the maples along the river road let go all at once and the yards need clearing before the first hard frost pins the leaves down. A lawn done right looks like nobody did anything at all, which is exactly the point.
