Brown Total Lawn Care

About Brown Total Lawn Care

The Maple River loops slow through the flat dairy country around Elsie, and on a July evening the village smells like cut grass and warm hay in roughly equal measure. Brown Total Lawn Care handles the mowing on those streets and out along the section roads — village lots backing onto a field, farmhouse yards with a hundred feet of lawn before you reach the porch. The ground here holds water, so grass keeps growing when other places quit, and the cutting schedule does not really let up until October. Edges taken against the sidewalk, trim run around every tree and post, clippings blown off the drive: that is the finish. A tidy yard on a long straight road is a quiet form of hospitality.
